Stimmung is a non-auditioned community choir which exists for any and everyone to come and sing their tits off. Stimmung performs a yearly concert spectacular at Q Theatre - performing classic rock albums in their entirety with special guest musicians and singers.

Previous concerts include Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf, Radiohead - Hail to the Thief, and The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Stimmung has been joined by many friends and guest vocalists, including Julia Deans (Fur Patrol), Ria Hall, Troy Kingi, Laughton Kora, Mikey Brown (Outside In), Paul McLaney (Gramsci, The Impending Adorations), Cherie Moore, Milan Borich (Pluto), Jimmy Christmas (the D4), Ed Castelow (Dictaphone Blues), Michael Murphy (Written by Wolves), Esther Stephens, Brady Peeti, Paul Fagamalo, Anna Graeme, Awhimai Fraser, the Up-Doos and others, and some of New Zealand’s best session musicians.
